Holism, if applied to all areas of human activity, can have a resoundingly positive effect, helping humanity see its way to the future in a manner that will allow it to finish its race with time whole and not in pieces.In the strictest terms for the purposes of this site, holism can be defined as the ability of a person to live life to its fullest potential to the benefit of all those destined to be touched by such a life.
Lives that are lived wholly reverberate through society, in the form of invention, discovery, teaching, kindliness, nurturance and celebration.
This site therefore advances a notion that has already become a part of the solution. Already, people make holistic decisions, and see them as part of the answer.
But the purpose here is to help further define holism in 21st century terms, to describe how it can be applied to all areas of human experience, from geopolitics to science to psychology to education, via the actions of individuals acting alone and in unison.
At Seeing Our Way To The Future, you will continue to find a wide array of examples of holism in stories covering diverse people, places and times. You will also read reportage of current affairs that analyzes modern events through a holistic lens. Finally, the site will sometimes feature portrayals of what tomorrow may look like thanks to a shared, holistic vision.
A view toward holism, and away from fragmentation, matters to all of our futures.
While holistic actions take place every day, we are not yet at a point where decisions made at all levels of human participation are made with the big picture in mind.Through communications helping to describe the ways in which holism, by its very nature, delivers timeless solutions, and a force for good, hopefully holistic actions will continue to be taken on by the world's people.
